I didn't actually think the Dirty Fingers could be bettered but I was wrong.
As the guitar is an early early 70s fretless wonder I started worrying about the frets and if I ever needed to get a refret. They don't make these frets anymore and I don't mind the fretless wonders, so I had a look around and to my astonishment I found an ad on craigslist from plainsville, OHIO, that somebody was selling Gibson fretless wonder new oldstock, 6 feets worth.
Suffice to say they're on the way to be put in the cupboard for the day she needs a wee bit help!
